"We recently needed to update our renter's insurance for the new address. We popped in to the NW Flanders location and were lucky to be helped by Gabrielle. "This is an amended review from my prior 5-star review because they keep doing great work. :) My wife and I have been really happy with Josh and his co-workers at this office. We've had a lot of changes and change-ups, and each time that happens, they've been great with providing us will all the details, as well as answering all our questions. They've even taken the time to do a Zoom call in order to make sure we fully understood our policies. Highly recommend! 11/4/25 - Once again amending my already 5-Star review for Josh and his staff - and they're great customer service."

"I've had Joshua and his office as my insurance reps for a number of years now. Him and his staff have always been responsive, helpful, and kind throughout any process or questions I've had through the years. "I've unsubscribed and asked to stop sending us email yet.They still email. rude disrespectful. Ill never use state farm ever."

"Hi Matt - You are absolutely correct. Sending emails and other contact after receiving a request to stop is extremely disrespectful and rude. That is why our standard procedure is to immediately cease contact upon request. Helping us understand how you contacted us would go far in improving our ability to successfully cease contact with people in the future. Typically we are notified through voice, email, or text. Upon investigation, I understand you did not use any of these methods to reach us. If you would be so kind as to reach out to me and let me know how you notified us so I can be more attuned to all methods of contact in the future, we will be more successful at avoiding upset people. Being kind and respectful is a top priority for us and it's disappointing to hear we let you down. You can reach us at 503-227-1393. I look forward to your call. "

"Joshua, All State Farm business appears to be done as expected. I just have one complaint. When I send you an email with a question, I expect a reply from you, & not an assistant. I regard you as the "authority" for State Farm, not an assistant who I don't know anything about, as they often do not acknowledge their location, title, or role. Your response via email is the legal standing for any disputes, and if it is your strategy to avoid doing this, then I regard this as a problem."

"Hi Don, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. This may be a question for others as well and it's an important topic regarding our relationships with our clients. I appreciate you being our customer for so many years and while I would love to be the one individual that responds to each of our customers emails, the sheer time and available bandwidth for a single person to service thousands of customers would be impossible. That is why, as a small business owner, I employ fully licensed and fully capable staff to help me with the workload. None of the 4 team members on my team are "assistants". Each of them is licensed and legally capable to do the same duties I am. I trust each person on my team implicitly. If I did not, there is not a chance they would be responding to a customer email, or be employed in my office. That means I stand behind the emails they respond to you with and were there to be a dispute, would hold the same weight as an email from me personally. I am ultimately responsible for everything my team does and I take that responsibility very seriously when choosing my staff. I believe they are the very best at what they do. I would very much appreciate a conversation with you so we can come to an understanding of expectation. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. "
